Meet Our Chiropodists:
Peter Guy
Peter has been serving the Whitby community since 1997, providing compassionate, evidence‑based care for foot and lower‑limb conditions. With over 40 years of experience in clinical practice, teaching, and professional leadership, he is known for his thorough approach and commitment to helping patients stay active and pain‑free.
Peter earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto and completed his postgrad chiropody training at the Michener Institute. He continues to support the profession by supervising Michener interns and delivering workshops and lectures on biomechanics and manual therapy for regulated foot‑care professionals.
He has held leadership roles provincially and nationally, including serving as President of the Ontario Society of Chiropodists, and is a long‑standing member of the Canadian Federation of Podiatric Medicine. Peter also sits on the Paris Orthotics Professional Advisory Board and is licensed with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario.
Outside the clinic, he enjoys travelling with his family and expanding his long‑standing stamp collection.
Alyssa Guy
Alyssa joined Whitby Family Footcare in 2019. Alyssa is known for her warm, patient‑centred approach. She takes the time to understand each patient’s concerns, lifestyle, and goals, ensuring that every treatment plan is tailored to their individual needs. Her clinical interests include routine foot care, nail and skin conditions, biomechanics, and preventative care.
Alyssa is a licensed chiropodist with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario, dedicated to providing compassionate, high‑quality foot care to patients of all ages. Alyssa graduated with Distinction from Ontario Tech University, earning a Bachelor of Health Science (Honours) degree before completing her postgraduate Advanced Diploma of Health Sciences in Chiropody (D.Ch.) at the Michener Institute of Education at UHN.
Outside the clinic, Alyssa enjoys travelling, exploring new places, and spending time with her loved ones.
Devina Sharma
Devina joined Whitby Family Footcare in 2023. She has a special interest in paediatrics, sports injuries, and minor surgical procedures, and enjoys providing patient‑centred care for all ages.
Devina earned her Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto and completed her chiropody training at the Michener Institute of Education at UHN. She is a licensed Chiropodist with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario.
